SUP Fest 2026

SUP Fest brings together water, movement and creativity in the heart of Savonlinna ☀️
This year's theme is "Knitting on Saimaa" 🧶 — participants are encouraged to wear knitted accessories or other creative theme-related details.
The event is for all friends of water, SUP boards and good vibes 💦
Programme: a joint SUP parade, photography 📸 and summer festival atmosphere.

Participants under 18 join under parental responsibility.
Event preparation
For those who enjoy creativity, knitting, and collaborative projects — even if they don't plan to go on the water. You can take part in preparation only, and it is just as valuable for the festival. We come up with ideas and concepts, knit elements for costumes, create small accessories and decorations, gather materials, help participants who don't know how to knit, and prepare visual details for the festival.

On July 27, 2024, Savonlinna hosted its first SUP Festival, a warm, intimate event with vibrant outfits, a cheerful atmosphere, and genuine summer vibes.
